Welcome, friends!

I’m Kirsten,
the heart and hands behind Declare Clothing.

From the first sketch to the last little stitch, I love bringing thoughtful clothes to life. Designing, sewing and embroidery are how I put that care into the pieces your children wear.

Declare began here in Pretoria, with faith, a love of making and a hope that little clothes could carry a bigger purpose. After studying Clothing Retail at the University of Pretoria, I wanted to build a more thoughtful way of dressing our little ones.

I hope you feel that heart in every garment: something beautiful, practical and made to be loved for longer.

With love, Kirsten

The heart behind our name

Two foundations.
One thoughtful purpose.

Declaring truth
over children’s lives

Our Christian faith is the heart of Declare. We believe every child is wonderfully made, deeply loved by God and created with purpose. We want our clothes to carry that truth into everyday life.

We give 5% of our profits to Tswalo House, supporting its care for vulnerable children.

Declaring truth
over the fashion industry

We believe clothing deserves time, care and a longer life. Natural materials, careful craftsmanship and practical designs are our answer to a culture of buying more and wearing less.

Our Grow-With-Me pieces adjust as children grow, giving each garment more time to be worn and loved.

A slower way of making

More wear.
More memories.

Sustainability lives in the choices we make every day: the fabric we choose, the care in a seam and the room we leave for growing.

We work with natural fibres, including linen and organic cotton. Each product tells you its own fabric story, so you can choose thoughtfully.

Room for growing

Our Grow-With-Me clothing adjusts from 6 months to 2 years. Babygrows have individual sizes. Thoughtful adjustments mean fewer replacements as little ones grow.

Care in every stitch

Our five-year stitch warranty covers seams that come loose on Grow-With-Me clothing. Get in touch so we can help keep your garment in use.
